Matthew McConaughey revealed details of his look-alike son along with his two more children. The 50-year-old actor got candid with ET in an exclusive interview and shed light on being a proud dad and his wife, Camila Alves.
Recently, the actor disclosed that he demands respect in the house and trust within the family members. However, he noted that certain phrases and words are absolutely forbidden as per family rules.
In an interview for Apple TV+ with Oprah Winfrey, McConaughey said that his three children, Levi, 12, Vida, 10, and Livingston, 8 are not supposed to do or say certain things in the house. The actor revealed that lying is not allowed in the house and they can't use the word hate or "I can't."
While the actor himself broke the rule while revealing them, the message was clear about being strong, positive, and never hurt anyone. McConaughey reflected on his 12-year-old son, Levi, who appeared on his mother's Instagram account.
The American-Brazilian model posted a picture of her son that resonate exactly like her husband and the netizens highly praised it. In Greenlights, the actor opened up a new memoir in which he revealed how considerate a person his eldest child has become.
McConaughey addressed his son as a sensitive young man who cares for everyone. He further said that his son has a "perfectionist bone," just like his father. He explained that his son does things exactly the way he planned.
“And he is very definite at exactly how that is and is not afraid to hop up on the chair and orate to everyone exactly what he means in case you do not understand,” he added. Moreover, McConaughey praised Levi for being a fine salesman, great storyteller, great debater, and he emphasized his son turning into a great storyteller.
He explained how he and his son "riff up stories" while they know that it didn't actually happen but it might sound great for the sake of story building. The actor admitted that he is becoming good friends with his elder son as he will turn 12-year-old.
However, the actor said that he doesn't mind if his sons or daughter follow his footsteps and enter the entertainment business. The actor said he is open to let his children do whatever they feel comfortable with as a profession. He said they all get employed by featuring in his photoshoots.
