It seems like Queen Elizabeth II’s reign as the British monarch will come to an end earlier than predicted. Royal biographer Robert Jobson weighed in on the possibility that Prince Charles's accession will happen next year.
The royal biographer believes that the Queen will hand the crown to Charles on her 95th year. Queen Elizabeth has been the longest-reigning monarch in the history of the British royalty.
“I still firmly believe when the Queen becomes 95, that she will step down,” Jobson Reveals in an interview with Royalty TV, reported by Dailymail UK.
Rumors of Charles becoming King have been circulating for some time. There have been several worries about the Queen’s health, especially with the pandemic.
Queen Elizabeth has also handed down many of her royal duties to the younger royals. Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles especially have been stepping in for the Queen.
Reporter Jack Royston agreed that there would be a proper shake-up in the royal family next year but believes that Prince Charles will not accede.
Royston says that the Queen deems his oldest son as unready for the crown. He believes that Queen Elizabeth will not ‘want to’ hand the throne to Charles.
Jobson also discussed in Royal TV Prince Harry and Prince Andrew’s current situation. The renowned biographer slammed both Princes for their scandals.
He commented on Prince Harry calling out racism and his own subconscious bias. Jobson called the Duke of Sussex a bare-faced hypocrite, revealing that the royal made racial slurs towards an Asian officer and videotaping it.
The Prince apologized for his actions, but the biographer believes that these statements made by the Prince in his latest engagement were all coming from hypocrisy.
As for Prince Andrew’s current situation, Jobson debunked the allegations of the Duke of York’s return to royal affairs.
He says that there is no coming back from his blunder. Jobson explains that Prince Andrew needs to b cleared by the FBI before getting back to his royal duties.
The rumors of Prince Philip punishing Prince Andrew has been a pivotal action by the patriarch of the monarchy as he is instrumental to all the Queen’s doing.
