Ariana Grande, 27, and The Weeknd, 30, first collaborated for the enticing and sultry song called Love Me Harder six years ago. Now, the long-awaited reunion positioned itself on Ariana's newest album.
If one loves harder, putting off the table is not a worry
According to Capital FM, Off The Table is a piece of the American songstress' sixth album entitled Positions. It is categorized as a studio album that was dropped by Ariana on Oct. 30 (Friday).
The said track sings of the same concept and theme of the album's other tracks, but it differs on its distinct sultry and sexy beat. It seems like the duo continued the love story that kicked off on Love Meharder, where they sang of loving each other hardcore if one wishes to keep each other.
In Off The Table, Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, aka The Weeknd, seems to have broken up with the gorgeous woman he loved hard six years ago. The song sings of Abel's longings and efforts in getting back Ariana after he showed his "toxic persona," Hollywood Life reported.
"Will you bе there? (Will you be there?) / Can I still love you? (Can I, can I, babe?) / Not yet healed or ready (Not ready)," Ariana's verse sings.
Ariana and The Weeknd unfading friendship
