Liam Payne shows his excitement for the festive holiday season as the 27-year-old English singer releases the invigorating Naughty List of Santa Claus.
The team-up of Liam Payne and Dixie D'Amelio
The new track of Liam arrived on Oct. 29 (Thursday), amid the spoofy terror brought by Halloween. As per Hollywood Life, Liam seems to mix up the holiday season by dropping a Christmas track while Halloween is nearing to happen.
However, with Naughty List, Liam does not fear the agitating punishment of Santa by not having a gift as he do the naughty stuff. And to the fans surprise, 19-year-old TikTok star Dixie D'Amelio graces the track as she paves her way to the music spotlight, as per Rolling Stone.
Liam's new song is Dixie's debut in the music industry since she dropped Be Happy alongside blackbear and Lil Mosey.
"Must have been the way we kissed / Santa saw the things we did / and put us on the naughty list," the intriguing lyric sings. The matter led the One Direction alum's fans to gush over the enthralling verse, having graced by their idols a Christmas song that hails a different concept than the mainstream.
On Oct. 27, Liam first teased the songs by posting an enticing narrative about his new single. On another post, the Bedroom Floor singer also revealed that he and Dixie collaborate as he poses in front of a human sized CGI snowflake.
Liam himself declared that Naughty List is a Christmas song, as it sings of a story of an unnamed lover that has gotten into the naughty list.
Liam's initial plan is to make his featuring artist a surprise, but fans were very rapid to unveil the easter egg. Some fans have noticed that when searching "naughty list liam payne" on Apple Music, the result will show the For You singer and Dixie.
Well... I had this whole grand plan about announcing who was featuring on my new song #NaughtyList on Friday but you did it again and found out! You’re all detectives!
