The birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s firstborn son was a big event for the British royal family. Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor joined the royal fold last May 6, 2018, but the details of his birth were so secretive that it was said to have angered Prince William, the older brother of Prince Harry.
According to reports Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to keep several details of Archie Harrison’s birth private even to the royal family did not go well with Prince William’s ways, according to Inquistr.com.

It was reported that out of anger for the secrecy surrounding Archie, Prince William refused to see the newborn tot for over a week!
Unlike other royal members, William and his wife, Kate Middleton, visited the new royal member eight days after his birth.
There were reports on the issue of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle keeping the godparents of Archie a secret to the public and the royal family.
Express UK revealed that this was against Prince William’s wishes. The Cambridge’s have often worked for hand in hand with the media in the announcement of their children's birth.
There was also no mystery shrouding the pregnancy and the birth of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Archie Harrison's birth proclamation was purposely delayed by the palace per wished of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
According to Lacey in ‘Battle of Brothers’, William was not impressed with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their decision and it reflected on the lateness of his visit to his nephew.
Archie Harrison was also not often visited by his royal cousins, causing more mystery on William and Kate’s ill feelings towards their counterpart.
The Palace issued a statement when the decision of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to not reveal any details regarding Archie Harrison defending them.
But many believe that this was done to spite the media. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle keeping information from the public regarding Archie Harrison was not popular amongst the British citizen.
Although the couple’s approach is different from the usual royal method, Harry and Meghan had every right to choose how they announce their child's birth.
The current disagreement between the brothers' Prince Harry and Prince William is still reportedly ongoing. As for any sign of reconciliation, experts believe it might be difficult.
