Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman has opened up about why she has forbidden her two daughters, shares with Keith Urban, to create accounts on Instagram.
Kidman shares her daughters - 12-year-old Sunday Rose and 9-year-old Faith Margaret with her country crooner husband. The actress was being interviewed on Loose Women, a British talk show, when she revealed the real reason not to favor her daughters to use Instagram now.
The Big Little Lies actress also mentioned how her eldest daughter is making noise to get into social media like most other kids of her age. She thinks many other parents are going through a similar dilemma as she is.
The star acknowledges that perhaps her lack of technical savviness has triggered such a decision for her two daughters. Kidman says that since she is not quite tech-savvy, it becomes tough for her to monitor it continuously.
However, the actress has made similar statements in the past as far as her parental choices are concerned. Kidman was speaking to Vanity Fair a year ago when she mentioned that she has not got them mobile phones and did not permit them to use Instagram.
Obviously, the Eyes Wide Shut actress has defined boundaries for her daughters and gives importance to discipline while bringing up her daughters. As far as her two older children with Tom Cruise are concerned, both Connor and Isabella are active on social media platforms.
The actress did not say what she thinks about them being on social media. Both her older children appear quite down-to-earth even though they are children of such big celebrities in Hollywood, Gossip Cop reports.
Meanwhile, if one Hollywood actress has taken a successful leap to the TV when it is at its peak, it is none other than Nicole Kidman. She has had many prestigious projects in her kitty, including her latest mini-series The Undoing, which was aired on Sky Atlantic and HBO this week.
The actress has another TV project in the pipeline, adapted from a play called Things I Know To Be True. Amazon Prime Video is scheduled to stream the project.
Kidman has successfully transitioned to prestige TV around two years ago with her critically acclaimed role in Big Little Lies on HBO. She was also one of this show's executive producers, along with Reece Witherspoon, her co-star in the series.
Nicole Kidman’s stellar performance on the show earned her an Emmy and she was highly praised for her acting, Evening Standard reports.
