As one of the most famous mothers on the planet, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, has made sure that she presents a picture-perfect parent in the media.
This is not far from the truth; the royal wife has been adored by civilians for her approach when it comes to motherhood.
It has been revealed in a discussion in Express UK with parenting expert Martina Mercer. During the interview, Mercer commented on how Kate Middleton has made it a point to follow the royal protocols but also creating new ones for her family.
Mercer explained that the Duchess of Cambridge makes sure that her kids are always spotless every time they go out of the public, which is something that the royals must practice.
Prince George, 7, Prince Charlotte, 5 and Prince Louis, 2, are always spick and span when they are seen out in public, especially George and Charlotte, who are now in school.
The Parenting expert also discussed how Kate Middleton was in her own league as well when it comes to taking care of her children.
Mercer made sure to make it a point to explain that Kate was not breaking any royal protocol, instead she was creating new ones.
According to Mercer, Kate Middleton is often seen holding her children’s hands and picking them up. She and husband, Prince William, also squat down when talking to them.
The older royals do not practice the said actions. This was only prominent during Princess Diana’s time but back then, the late Princess of Wales was pronouncedly umpired for this.
Kate’s approach has been gentler, simply adding more loving and caring actions to her children.
“I wouldn’t say she’s broken any rules, as she’s made new ones, Kate is a leader within the Royal Family now and a princess who has taken the Royal Family, and their reputation into the 21st century,” Mercer commented on Kate’s parenting style.
Recently, the Cambridges opened up their home for the early premiere of Sir David Attenborough’s newest documentary.
The event's official photographs were published by Kensingtonroyal, showing Prince William and Kate Middleton, including their three royal children.
The event created major traction after additional clips of the kids were uploaded on their official Instagram, wherein Prince Louis was first heard speaking.
The couple is said to be training their children to play bigger roles in the coming years, especially Prince George, who is fourth-in-line to the throne.
