The Donda: With Child star, took Twitter to revert back on the joke regarding his presidential campaign. The rapper said that his heart goes out to the actress and he is going to pray for her along with her entire family.
The rapper posted a picture of Rae's Wikipedia information and captioned that he always mentioned how the Saturday Night Live show has been utilizing people of color to hold back other black people. West explained that he could grow more with his ability after serving in the entertainment industry for decades.
"I know that the twenty years of service that I’ve paid in the entertainment field has furthered our ability to be more successful," he further explained. The rapper was mentioned in Your Vote Chicago titled sketch during the show and Rae portrayed an NAACP representative, who appears on a talk show in the morning.
The Awkward Black Girl star stated that she would vote for people of color, which was a reference to the comment she made back in 2017. However, the actress took a dig at West while talking about the Black candidate. Kenan Thompson, who is portrayed as the character of an anchor during the sketch, said that when they come back after the break, they will discuss the presidential race between Joe Biden, Donald Trump, and Kanye West.
Rae's character immediately reverted with, "Kanye? F him!". The rapper announced during the summer that he would be running for the president. However, West has a contentious dynamic with the sketch show as back in 2018. The rapper gave a speech that wasn't planned soon after his performance.
