Ariana Grande has a huge surprise for her fans coming up later this month. The "Thank U, Next" singer will roll out her sixth studio album dubbed #AG6 within the next two weeks. Ariana Grande shared a casual tweet informing her fans that towards the end of October they will have a new set of songs to listen to and enjoy.
As Grande’s fans are awaiting the drop of the new any moment now, the "I’m Every Woman" has confirmed that it’s not her who is collaborating with AG.
During her appearance on VladTV, the 67-year-old was asked who she would like to collab with in the future for a music project – and her reply was incredibly wild. Chaka Khan expressed her reluctance to work with the Side to Side singer as she thinks Ariana is ‘good on her own’ and doesn’t need the support in any form of a collab.
“F*** her, she’s alright. She’s good on her own. She doesn’t need – plus, I don’t wanna sing with another woman. I ain’t got nothing to say, OK, with a woman. You say it by yourself. We ain’t gonna talk about no man. We not gonna do none of that stuff. It’s not happening.
Despite no interest to work with Ariana Grande, there are musicians and singers who she really wants to make some music with.
The singer further added on to say that Anderson Paak has the potential to make a good future in the music industry - and she would like to work with him and other young talents who are putting their efforts to earn their respect as far as the music is concerned.
Ariana Grande is coming back along with a studio album after a long time. Her last album "Thank U, Next," which was a superhit, debuted last year in February boasting songs such as “In My Head,” “7 Rings,” “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored.”
Grande’s fifth album came quickly off the back of her fourth album "Sweetener," but this time it has been a painfully long wait for fans.
Rumor has it that Ariana may have collaborated with one of the music vets for her upcoming album, but nothing has been said of it as yet. Though fans are still expecting it to be Mariah Carey, the likelihood is that it’s not happening this time. What remains to see is if the latest one can beat the bar Grande has set for herself.
