Taking to Instagram, Chris Hemsworth confirmed the news that he was in fact going to be in the upcoming "Mad Max" prequel. In addition to giving the confirmation, the actor also penned down his thoughts on what it means to be in the film that has had a great influence on his career.
His long and thoughtful note reads, “Pretty damn fired up to be a part of a franchise that meant the world to me as a kid growing up in Australia. The fact that I’ll have the honor of not only being directed by its original visionary in George Miller but also take part in Furiosa’s origin story is incredibly exciting.” To Chris, the popular film was the bar at the peak when it came to movies.
He further added on to say that he has enormous respect for all those who have contributed to the making of "Mad Max" so far – George, Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Mel, and all the cast and crew members.
