Zak Williams officially tied the knot with his girlfriend, Olivia June. The Graduates star held a wedding ceremony, which was intimate as only close friends and family members were surrounded.
Zak is Robin Williams' oldest son, who took Twitter to disclose the happiest day of his life. The 37-year-old actor exchanged the rings and made it official in Los Angeles at The Paramour Estate on Oct. 10. The actor added the hashtag of #WorldMentalHealthDay alongside his wedding picture.
While Zak wrote that he had immense joy in getting married to his best friend and then tagging June's Twitter profile to confirm, he admitted that there couldn't be a better day to tie the knot as it was World9 on the weekend.
The actor wrote that the close-knit event went "awesome," along with a picture he shared of the big day. Along the same lines, June also tweeted that she feels happy as she is married to her best friend and love of her life. She joked further and said that Zak was anyway stuck with her, and now it has become legal.
The pair welcomed their first child on May 22 last year and named McLaurin Clement Williams, which was kept after Robin's middle title McLaurin. However, the couple calls the little one as Mickey with love. The couple said that they are in love with the Oct. 10 date, and that's the reason why they chose to hold the event on this particular date while keeping the ceremony safe from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The duo said that the outdoor wedding was done with safety measures and hosted with a lot of care. However, they admitted that the entire event's planning process seemed to be pretty challenging for the couple, but eventually, it was a great experience.
In an interview with People, the couple disclosed that it is great to see everyone having a great time during a festive occasion being safe from the COVID-19. The couple met four years ago when Zak was going through a difficult time in his life after Robin committed suicide back in 2014.
"I was going through a challenging time in my life, and she was supportive and there when I needed someone. I'm so thrilled that we now have a family," he said. The actor further revealed how much he loves having his own family and becoming a father.
