The British royal family has a life that many people are curious about as one of the most famous firms around the globe, only a few have been given a real look at their private lives.
Robert Lacey, a renowned royal historian and commentator, has recently announced that he will be publishing a new book in the coming days.
‘Battle of Brothers’, which has gathered great interests from royal fans and new network elaborates on the many scandals and updates the royal family has.
‘Battle of Brothers’ main theme is the discussion of the life of the royal brother's Prince William and Prince Harry. Rumors of their fallout from a year ago have never blown away.
In his unreleased book, Lacey delves into details on how and why Prince William and Prince Harry have drifted apart, and the history of where it all began, as well as stories of their royal partners.
According to ‘Battle of Brothers,’ Lacey claims that Kate Middleton declined the offer of Queen Elizabeth to join the royal family for a Christmas lunch in Sandringham palace.
The royal family spends much of their Christmas holiday in Sandringham. The senior royals gather and being invited to the party is very meaningful.
But according to Lacey, Kate, who was dubbed by the media as ‘Waity Katey’ due to a very long sating period with Prince William, kindly rejected the Queen.
The reason behind Kate’s decline was because she had no ring on her finger yet.
Lacey claims that Kate was no comfortable joining the royal family for the intimate lunch, knowing that William and her are not officially engaged yet.
Kate Middleton only joined the royal family when William announced their engagement. Another factor cited by Lacey was the fact that Kate was a commoner and did not grow up in a regal fashion.
Other claims made by the book is the fallout between brother Prince William and Harry. Lacey explained that the brothers had drifted slowly apart since early 2005 when Harry was involved in a Nazi scandal.
Lacey also dragged Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s wife as one of the reasons why the brothers fight ignited into a ball of fire.
Bombshell's accusation of Meghan’s ambitious goals were cited as one of the many reasons why William was never entirely on board with Harry marrying the American actress.
Robert Lacey’s ‘Battle of Brothers’ will be available on October 13.
