Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been dubbed as hypocrites amid claims that they could be starring in their own reality TV show.
Even though Netflix has already denied the claims, a source recently told Heat UK that the couple already has a slew of programs lined up for the streaming platform.
Prince Harry and Markle have also been accused of cashing in on their royal titles because they continue to use them even though they are no longer considered a working royal.
“The couple already has several projects in development, including an innovative nature docuseries and an animated series that celebrates inspiring women. But we are not disclosing any of the programming slate at this time,” a spokesperson for Netflix said.
A source for the magazine also revealed that Markle and Prince Harry considered starring in their own reality TV show. However, they feel that now isn’t the right time to start this type of program.
“They cringe at the idea of anything that could be even vaguely deemed as tacky. So, as of this moment, their rep is correct to state that they won’t be starring in a reality show. But things could change if the right offer comes in that ticks boxes in terms of tastefulness, suitability, and of course, financial reward. The big hitters in Hollywood have a ton of projects on the go – that’s how they got to be successful,” the source said.
The insider also claimed that Prince Harry and Markle hate being called liars and hypocrites because they know for a fact that these allegations do not suit them.
“They feel that couldn’t be further from the truth. They are doing what’s right for them and still want to get their side of the story across,” the source said.
Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has been one of Prince Harry and Markle’s biggest detractors.
“The Duchess of Sussex has popped again in her daily address to the world. She’s a very private lady, as you know. There’s not a day that goes by without these two whinings, complaining, suing,” he said.
As of late, Prince Harry and Markle have not yet responded to the claims made by the tabloid.
