Four years from now, a new set of "presidentiables" will be competing for the most powerful position in the United States. While the details have yet to be revealed, given that the 2020 reelection is just about to happen later this year, some individuals already have their "top picks," especially for the Republicans. Based on polls, Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr. are among them.
Axios Survey Monkey recently released the result of 2024 GOP Presidential Vote. In the top 4, Donald Trump's two eldest children got the second and fourth spots.
With his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr. at the second place for his 29 percent votes, and Ivanka Trump at the fourth spot for her 16 percent votes. While Vice President Mike Pence topped the list for his 40 percent votes, it is the President's children that got the attention of many.
It is not surprising that the First Daughter made it to the top list. Aside from the fact that she has a position now inside the White House working as a Senior Advisor to the President, Donald Trump also previously shared that Ivanka is his "heir apparent." He even claimed that when Ivanka runs in the next election, she will be very "difficult to beat."
According to Express UK, Ivanka Trump can utilize her initiatives and works within the administration to carry on her father's legacy. With a portfolio that highlights education, as well as "economic empowerment of women and families," this would be her "selling point," the publication added.
On Donald Trump Jr.'s place, this is where it gets interesting as per the general reception. This is because the eldest son of the President is not as active in the political sector as the First Daughter.
Currently, he is working side by side with Eric Trump, Donald Trump's third child to Ivana Trump. They are reportedly much more active in working for the family's empire, especially in the Trump Organization.
It was asserted, though, that Donald Trump Jr. is one of the President's "top defenders" on social media. With his Twitter following of 4.2 million, it is somehow justifiable why he is popular in politics.
The publication further noted that during the San Antonio rally for Donald Trump's re-election, the audience repeatedly chanted "2024" amid his speech for his father. Not to mention, his recent book, Triggered: How The Left Thrives On Hate And Wants To Silence Us, became one of New York Times bestsellers.
While it has become evident that the chance of Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr. running for the 2024 Presidential Election, nothing much has been heard from the President's kids in recent times about the matter.
