Meghan Markle has been called a number of things, but she’s now being accused of being a stage mom.
According to Life & Style, the Duchess of Sussex wants to turn her 1-year-old son into a celebrity or a reality TV star at such a young age.
A source for the tabloid said that it’s unlikely for the royal family to support Markle’s desire to turn Archie into a celebrity in Hollywood. In fact, they could also be cringing at the thought.
Shortly after Netflix announced their partnership with Prince Harry and Markle, tabloids started claiming that the couple will be starring in their own reality TV show.
In line with this, Life & Style claimed that no one can stop the Sussexes from doing what they want to do. And this is allegedly a trait that they have already passed on to their young son.
“Meghan thinks her son is adorable. She can just imagine him following in her footsteps and becoming an actor,” the source said.
However, Gossip Cop immediately debunked the tabloid’s claims by saying that Prince Harry and Markle are not starring in their own reality TV show. As such, it’s unlikely for them to release a show that will revolve around their son.
The rumor-debunking site said that if Archie decides to become a celebrity one day, it is highly likely that Prince Harry and Markle would be supportive. But until then, the couple is trying to raise their son as a private individual.
“The idea that Markle would try to thrust her son more into the spotlight is highly inaccurate,” they said.
Gossip Cop also busted the same tabloid for all the times that they have published dubious claims about Prince Harry and Markle. Months ago, they claimed that the couple is struggling financially just because they quit The Firm.
The same tabloid also claimed that Markle is looking forward to her Hollywood comeback. And one of the A-listers that she will be working with is Tom Cruise.
Cruise is, allegedly, recruiting Markle to join him in a movie. But this rumor died down as quickly as it made headlines, which proves that it’s incorrect.
Gossip Cop also reached out to a rep for Cruise and was told that the claims are 100 percent inaccurate.
