Princess Eugenie will most likely seek support and comfort from Kate Middleton now that she’s pregnant with her first child.
According to YOU, the Duchess of Cambridge will be more than willing to give Princess Eugenie baby and pregnancy tips because they are close.
“Eugenie can ask Kate for baby advice. It’ll be a comfort to her to have an experienced mom so close by,” the source said.
The insider also claimed that it’s unlikely for Princess Eugenie to give her children royal titles. After all, she and her husband, Jack Brooksbank want their kids to have normal lives.
“Even if the queen offered them a title as a gift for their baby, it’s not Eugenie or Jack’s desire. Eugenie knows a title can be a curse as well as a blessing and she and Jack want their child to live a normal life and eventually work to earn a living,” the source said.
When it comes to the royal couple’s baby’s name, the top choices for boy names are Arthur and Oliver. According to bookmakers, it’s unlikely for Princess Eugenie to call her son Andrew, which is the name of her dad.
After all, the Duke of York is still embroiled in a major controversy after he was accused of sexually abusing underage girls. Author Ian Halperin claimed that Prince Andrew also has an addiction because he has, reportedly, slept with dozens of women.
Halperin also said that Prince Andrew’s addiction may have been caused by the fact that he always comes second to Prince Charles.
As such, there is no way for Princess Eugenie to call her son Andrew. But the arrival of her firstborn will still be delightful news not just for the Yorks but for the entire royal family.
“We all need some good news and the imminent arrival of new life is the happiest news there could be. The queen is very fond of Eugenie and her sister, Beatrice. She has a lot of time for them. She is delighted at the thought of being a great-grandmother again,” the source said.
Princess Eugenie revealed in her Instagram post that her baby will arrive during the early part of 2021.
