Meghan Markle’s recent appearance on a $15,000 virtual engagement for Fortune's Most Powerful Women Summit has created some buzz in Hollywood. The Duchess of Sussex who talked about several topics during the engagements has been criticized for some of her comments, most especially about trolls scrutinizing her and her husband, Prince Harry.
But what people did not notice was the body language of the Duchess, and according to an expert, the Duchess was showing signs of anger while doing the engagement.
Meghan Markle talked about critics hitting out that she is a ‘controversial’ figure, the Duchess who in return claimed to be not so and explained that it is the interpretation of the people that makes her controversial, was seemingly angry when explaining this.
Judi James, body language expert revealed that Meghan’s taught jaw and excessive blinking during her explanation showed that the Duchess was quite angry by these claims.
Meghan also tends to look away while addressing some contentious topics about her during the talk and shaking her head also showed that she was in disbelief according to Ms. James.
Ms. James continued to explain that Meghan’s team made sure that the Duchess looked like she was down to do business but vulnerable at the same time.
She elucidated that the Duchess’s shirt, which was a navy blue and white striped shirt, with the sleeves rolled up to her elbow, and the casual splaying in her sofa, displayed a picture of authenticity.
Harry and Meghan Markle were criticized as hypocrites after the couple preached about climate change and yet were still using a private jet for their engagements.
Meghan addressed these criticisms during the talk and defended their actions.
The Duchess of Sussex also mentioned their charity project called ‘Archewell’, which is named after their 16-month old son, Archie Harrison.
The couple who were forced to build the charity organization has been mentioning in it often in their engagements. Harry and Meghan Sussex Royal charity organization were barred by the royal family after they left the institution.
According to Meghan, Archewell aims to help foster positive communities, both online and offline.
Meghan came under fire, including her husband during an earlier TV appearance for Time publication. The couple who dabbled with politics in the US has been condemned by the UK citizens.
Harry and Meghan are currently concentrating on their individual engagements as well as their production company in partnership with Netflix.
