Princess Eugenie just confirmed that she’s pregnant with her and Jack Brooksbank’s baby.
The royal shared an adorable photo of a pair of baby shoes alongside the revelation that her baby will be born during the first quarter of 2021.
Shortly after, Woman’s Day published a photo of Princess Eugenie with her growing baby bump. And an eagle-eyed witness claimed that the size of the royal’s bump seems to confirm that she’s expecting twins.
“Either she’s quite far along all of a sudden, or there might be two babies on the way,” the source said.
The insider also said that Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s youngest daughter seems to enjoy dropping pregnancy hints for her fans. And this is allegedly another way of confirming that she’s expecting twins.
“Eugenie would love the subterfuge about being pregnant and would enjoy leaving hints like that for fans if she was having twins. They have been planning to become parents since they got married two years ago,” the source said.
Meanwhile, some royal fans are wondering if Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank’s baby will be given a royal title following its birth. According to Express, it’s unlikely for the baby to receive a royal title because five of Queen Elizabeth’s great-grandchildren don’t have royal titles.
The only three great-grandchildren of the queen that have royal titles are the kids of Prince William and Kate Middleton. But it is important to note that they are direct heirs to the throne.
Following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son’s birth, the couple decided to not give their son, Archie a royal title. This is in line with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s desire to give Archie a normal life.
Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips’ children don’t also have royal titles. And their cousins from Peter and Autumn Phillips don’t also have royal titles.
In related news, there are some royal baby traditions that Princess Eugenie must follow. First, Princess Eugenie may give birth to that same hospital where she was born in.
There are also predictions when it comes to the possible baby names she could give her offspring.
“Punters seem to think that a traditional royal name is on the cards, and Alice and Arthur lead the betting as 8/1 joint-favorites. Other names in the running for a girl include Celia at 10/1 and Augusta at 14/1, with Diana, after her late aunt, at odds of 20/1. Popular boys' names in the betting include Henry at 10/1 and Thomas at 14/1, while Boris is an unpopular-looking 200/1. It appears unlikely, however, that the princess will name the child after her sibling, as Beatrice, which is currently at odds of 100/1,” bookmakers Betfair said.
