Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth are, allegedly, disgusted with Prince Andrew, and they don’t want anything to do with him anymore.
According to Globe, the royal couple has decided to remove their son from the royal family photos. And they have also banned him from attending a slew of events like Prince Philip’s 100th birthday celebration.
“Andrew has become the biggest black sheep in his family’s history. The shame he’s heaped on the monarchy with the Epstein scandal and being sued for welching on an $8 million mortgage has given Her Majesty a black eye. He’s become the new Invisible Man,” the source said.
The insider also claimed that just before Prince Andrew was frozen out by his parents, the queen first lent him a helping hand. Her Majesty, allegedly, paid off the Duke of York’s foreclosed mortgage on his Swiss chalet.
But when the Duke of Edinburgh found out about what the queen did, he was, allegedly, enraged. Prince Philip doesn’t think it was necessary for the monarch to help Prince Andrew out because he’s a disgrace to the royal family.
He was previously accused of sexually abusing underage girls in the 90s. And his friendship with the late Jeffrey Epstein has also been met with a slew of controversies.
“There’s no doubt the monarchy is pulling strings behind the scenes to save Andrew. But the royals are so disgusted with him they have literally cropped him out of family portraits,” the source said.
Meanwhile, reports that Prince Philip has decided to not invite Prince Andrew to his 100th birthday celebration next year made headlines last week.
According to Woman’s Day, the Duke of York and Meghan Markle won’t be attending the bash because they have been frozen out by the royal family.
“Meghan isn’t the only one who’s found herself pushed aside from royal birthday celebrations – disgraced Prince Andrew has been on the receiving end of the same ire. Organizers charged with planning Prince Philip’s 100th birthday events in June next year have been instructed to leave his second son off any public guest lists and remove him from any photographic tributes and displays,” a source said.
However, one should still take the claims made by the tabloids with a grain of salt. As of late, it is still unclear if Prince Andrew has really been snubbed from his dad’s upcoming birthday party.
