A documentary, which depicted the relationship between Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson, told the unlikely pairs troublesome antics that led to them being picked up by policemen!
‘Fergie Vs. Diana: Royal Wives At War’ revealed that in the coming weeks before Sarah Ferguson's wedding to Prince Andrew, a traditional hen party was approved by the royal palace to be celebrated.
In the party, Sarah Ferguson invited Princess Diana, of which the two had a cunning plan to crash Prince Andrew’s stag party.
It was clear that Sarah Ferguson’s number one priority was to have fun and fitting into the royal accolade was not one of them.
It was further discussed during the documentary that at some point during the party, Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson dressed up as policewomen and got into quite a trouble in the palace.
The pair also had the audacity to go into a police van, with which they were apprehended immediately by the police.
The party was then brought to Prince Andrew’s own stag party at the exclusive Annabel’s nightclub. Reports have exposed that Princess Diana and The Duchess of York hid behind chairs and watched the stag party go on.
Upon returning to the palace, the two were able to corroborate with palace guards to lockout Prince Andrew upon his return, which led to Andrew throwing a tantrum and made circles around Victoria Memorial.
Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson were inseparable pair during their time in the palace. The documentary also explored the friendship of the two and their apparent falling out.

Diana also requested Sarah Ferguson to become a lady in waiting for her, to keep her company during her lonely days in Kensington. The Palace rejected this request though, saying that Sarah Ferguson was not fit to be a lady in waiting despite dating Prince Andrew at that time.
This devastating news was also one of the reasons why Princess Diana was miserable in her royal life.
According to Sarah Ferguson, the year before leading to Princess Diana’s untimely death, the two had stopped talking to each other.
