On Thursday, the niece of Donald Trump, Mary Trump who is also the author of a memoir that recently inflicted controversy for giving an unflattering portrayal of Trump, has filed a lawsuit against the U.S. president. Mary has accused him and other family members of defrauding her out of an inheritance worth tens of millions of dollars.
The complaint takes an aim at Donald Trump, his brother Robert Trump who passed away earlier this year, and his sister Maryanne Trump Barry.
As per the details of the complaint, the Trump-siblings seized control of the real estate empire built by their father Fred Trump Sr, who died in 1999. The accusation further details that the trio exploited the property to fill up their personal pockets.
The complaint has been filed in the New York state court in the city of Manhattan.
It’s not the first time that the President has faced criticism from a family member, on a number of previous occasions, Trump has been called out for monkey business by friends and family.
