While many fans might assume that celebrities have different household problems, Michelle Obama broke the assumption and confirmed that their family is similar to others when it comes to quarantine.

The 56-year-old former first lady discussed good and bad times of quarantine with host Conan O'Brien as she appeared on his show, Conan on Sept. 23. The Becoming: A Guided Journal for Discovering Your Voice author revealed different stages of lockdown that she spent with her daughters, Sasha who is 19-year-old and Malia, who is 22-year-old along with her husband, Barack Obama.

Michelle went on to explain that the initial phase of the coronavirus was exciting for her family to be together but it started to fade out after a couple of months. The host laughed off and expressed the similarities he had during the start of COVID.

"We were being all organized and we would spend the days apart doing our respective work -- the girls were still in classes in the spring, and so we would be working and then doing a little exercise, and then come together in the evenings," she explained.

She further revealed that they used to perform several activities together such as making cocktails, play games, solve puzzles, and so on. In fact, former President Obama also taught his daughters Spades. Michelle noted that they had organized some special days such as an art day in which they used to make paintings with the help of watercolors and then they use to show it to each other.

While the 57-year-old host looked surprised, Michelle again reminded him that it was happening during the earlier stage of the quarantine. The Harvard Law School graduate further said that eventually, everything came to an end as the weather became warmer and summer hit.

Michelle admitted that her daughters get sick of their parents, she then added, even them get sick of being around with them either all the time. She said that once everyone was allowed to step out after a couple of months, everyone got a little bit of room to stroll around that turned out to be good.

Michelle jokingly said that her daughters are now busy learning through Zoom calls and they are not thrilled at all to be around their parents anymore. However, she said that her husband hardly got any time to get on her nerves because he has been kept busy with his upcoming book.
