Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge has proved time and again that she is a hands-on mom for her three kids. According to a royal expert, Prince William’s wife wants to keep the kids engaged even during the lockdown.
Middleton is a hands-on mother of three young kids even though she is busy with her charity work and royal engagements. Before the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, she made sure to accompany Prince George to his school quite frequently.
According to Katie Nicholl, a royal expert, Prince William’s wife is determined that her three kids should be engaged during the country’s lockdown period. Nicholl told a publication this week that the Duchess is enthusiastic about encouraging her kids to be creative even while they are in quarantine.
Also, she does not allow the kids to use “their own mobiles and tablets.” The expert told OK! that her emphasis during the lockdown period “will be on arts and crafts, paintings.” She would prefer her kids to indulge in things, which are not screen-oriented.
Nicholl also said that the Duchess maintains “very strict screen time” for her children. The expert mentioned that the Duchess of Cambridge is known to encourage her kids to remain outdoors within their family house and explore nature, Fox News reports.
The kids have been given the charge to look after the kitchen garden, and have got a pond, swings, and climbing frames to amuse themselves. That means, the kids have plenty on their hands to keep themselves busy.
Prince William and Middleton are residing in Norfolk with their children for many weeks now amid the COVID-19 outbreak. They are allegedly getting ready for Louis’ birthday, which is on Apr. 23.
Nicholl feels that William and Middleton will do their best to make sure that their youngest child feels special on his birthday although they are in quarantine. The royal expert seems to be convinced that the Duchess would plan something good for their little one’s big day. However, Middleton prefers to organize low-key parties for the kids.
The family is adhering to social distancing norms and it is quite likely that Prince George and Princess Charlotte would make cards and gifts at one of their numerous arts and crafts sessions in their Norfolk home.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are doing their utmost to help and support people during the COVID-19 pandemic. The couple recently updated the website of their charitable foundation and announced that it will support all the frontline staff who is responding to coronavirus in the United Kingdom.
