Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were recently dubbed as a nightmare and worst neighbors for Britons.
In a recent survey, it was revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are two of the people that other Britons wouldn’t want to be neighbors with.
A quarter of the respondents said that they think Prince Harry and Markle would make the worst neighbors.
Additionally, respondents said that they wouldn’t want to chat with Prince Harry and Markle with over the garden fence. After all, they know that having the couple in their neighborhood would mean that they would lose their privacy.
After Prince Harry and Markle moved to Santa Barbara, reports revealed that the paparazzi swarmed the area to take photos of the couple. There is also traffic and noise in the neighborhood because of all the cars and helicopters.
“Getting on with your neighbors is high on everyone’s agenda, especially with the fear of another lockdown. By offering a prize like this, we’re giving people a chance to move to the house of their dreams and do their bit for a wonderful charity,” a source said.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle also made headlines this week after Bishop Michael Curry opened up about what it was like to be a descendant of slaves giving a sermon at their royal wedding.
While promoting his book Love Is the Way, Curry told People that he could feel the slaves around the place while he was giving his sermon.
“I don't mean to be spooky, but it was like their voice was somehow heard that day. I included one of their songs, 'There is a Balm in Gilead.' It was like their voice, one of their songs, one of their descendants was there that day. The Queen was most gracious,” he said.
“The fact that all happened, for me, it's a sign of hope. It's a sign of hope that one who descends from people who were captured in the slave trade, probably the British slave trade, is brought from the shores of West Africa to the shores of America. That one of their descendants was in the presence of the Queen of England, and he quoted one of their songs. That's hope that we don't have to be the way we've always been,” he added.
Prince Harry and Markle tied the knot on May 19, 2018, at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
