The history of the British royal family has been a well-recorded one. Portraits and story of the royals before our time chronicles the evolution of the reigning sovereigns and other noble blood. The importance of a well-logged history is obvious, as it increases the trust and the belief of the rulers, as much as the people of Britain.
In a recent study, it was revealed that Meghan Markle had a trustworthy level that is high compared to that of Queen Elizabeth I.
The study which renders 3D photographs and or portraits of the two royals, and then runs them in a computer to see who is more trustworthy in a physical aspect showed that Meghan was three and half times more trustworthy than the old Queen.
Meghan Markle’s photo was then run again, but compared to the current reigning sovereign of Britain, Queen Elizabeth II.
Researchers reveal that Queen Elizabeth II was more trustworthy than the Duchess of Sussex. The study concluded that Queen Elizabeth II was one and a half times more trustworthy than Meghan Markle.
According to the research authors, the study itself does not assess trustworthiness itself, instead, it examines the portrait or photograph on the qualities it portrays.
Author Nicolas Baumard said regarding Meghan Markle’s portrait saying that Meghan may not be truly trustworthy but on average the appearance of the Duchess is.
The authors also run numerous portraits of other subjects, such as Joe Biden and the recumbent President of The United States, Donald Trump.
The study showed a massive disparity between the two presidential nominees, Joe Biden was 300 times more trustworthy than Donald Trump as concluded.
Almost the same assumption was also made when Russian president Vladimir Putin was compared to former President of The United States Barack Obama.
Nicolas Baumard and his other colleagues were able to render multiple portraits under their study, which revealed that attributes of trustworthiness have changed over the century.
The importance of the study concludes that there is an increasing significance on this particular attribute in public officials and is associated with rises in the GDP per capita in a country.
The royals who have been an institution that has been present for centuries is a great subject for the study as portraits of the head-of-states have been well preserved and can be shown how the leaders of the country mattered when it came to the success of the country in that particular time.
Nicolas Baumard and his associates’ studies can be found published in the journal Nature Communications.
