Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are, allegedly, having relationship problems.
According to Woman’s Day, the couple’s issues have become so severe that they could no longer deal with them together. As such, Lopez has started drowning her sorrows in booze.
A source told the tabloid that Lopez recently had lunch with her sister, Linda in New York City. And it was, allegedly, evident that she looked sad and stressed.
Since the siblings ordered alcohol to go together with their meal, the tabloid immediately assumed that Lopez was drinking too much.
The insider also claimed that it’s so out of character for Lopez to drink glasses of alcohol because she’s very particular about what she eats and drinks.
“She’s so disciplined with what goes into her body and booze is so rarely on the menu, even a mocktail would have too much sugar for her,” the source said.
But the source insisted that life hasn’t been easy for Lopez. As such, she, allegedly, needed to blow off steam. And the fact that she’s the main breadwinner in their family because Rodriguez doesn’t have a steady source of income is causing problems in their relationship.
“She’s the main breadwinner and he’s got it in his head that baseball is the only way he can contribute. All of this on top of planning a wedding and I can imagine it’s all getting too much,” the source said.
However, none of the claims made by the tabloid are true. Gossip Cop also pointed out how absurd the tabloid’s claims are. After all, having a glass of alcohol or two with a sibling doesn’t necessarily mean that the person is drinking too much.
The rumor-debunking site also denied the claims that Rodriguez a lazy and jobless man because he’s not. The couple isn’t also having problems with money or their relationship in general.
Just recently, Lopez even shared a beautiful portrait with her fiancé, which proves that their relationship is doing just fine. The World of Dance judge also shared an adorable photo of her blended family with Rodriguez and their respective children.
Lopez previously revealed that her twins, Max and Emme get along well with Rodriguez’s daughters, Natasha and Ella. Their children have also been urging Lopez and Rodriguez to tie the knot already.
But because of the coronavirus pandemic, their wedding plans were postponed.
