Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend, Cressida Bonas recently sparked rumors that she could be expecting her first child.
Woman’s Day published a photo of Bonas during her nighttime walk with her husband, Harry Wentworth-Stanley. In the snap, Bonas and Wentworth-Stanley are chatting while grinning from ear to ear.
The tabloid noticed that Bonas is wearing an oversized coat during her outing and concluded that this is because she’s hiding her baby bump. But there’s no reason for Bonas to do so because she’s happily married to her husband.
“Cressie said they wanted to start a family as soon as possible. Looks like they may have managed it right off the bat,” the source said.
Bonas and Wentworth-Stanley tied the knot in July at an intimate ceremony.
Years before the couple dated, Bonas was with Prince Harry. But the two split in 2014 because Bonas struggled to be in the spotlight.
Back then, BBC reported that the Duke of Sussex and Bonas had an amicable split. Royal correspondent Peter Hunt shared the news of their split via his Twitter account.
Hunt also said that Prince Harry wanted everyone to know that he didn’t call it quits with Bonas because he thinks she’s too needy.
According to The Daily Telegraph, it was the unwanted media attention and engagement speculation that led them to end things.
Bonas and Wentworth-Stanley, on the other hand, met while they were studying at Leeds University. After Bonas’ split from Prince Harry, she reunited with Wentworth-Stanley.
While speaking with The Spectator, Bonas teased her low-key and simple wedding.
“I’m getting married, and everyone seems to have very strong opinions about the wedding. I disagree with nearly all of them. I always imagined I’d have a small wedding until I realized our two families alone come to 120 people. I’m amazed that’s even possible. My dad thinks we should do what people did in his day: church service; a glass of champagne; father of the bride speech; best man toast; a cup of tea; a piece of cake; the bride and groom leave; guests ‘bugger off’ — three hours tops. This is not what I had in mind,” she said.
Bonas also said that she managed to upset her dad when she told him that she wanted to get married under a tree.
“He’s in his seventies, and a traditional type — his mother, Winifred, was a choir mistress. He looked at me as if I had completely lost the plot, then he insisted that we say our vows in a church. ‘How much poorer our lives would be without our churches and music,’ he said, with real feeling,” Bonas shared.
