Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are the new parents to their little girl, Daisy. The couple is currently on cloud nine as they became parents for the first time together. The little bundle of joy entered their life on Aug. 26 and since then the pair couldn't be happier to have a baby girl.
One of the close sources shared that since the couple has been blessed with Daisy, they have been overwhelmed with kindness and love. The source further informed the pair has been receiving tons of gifts along with encouraging words.
While amid ongoing pandemic the couple can't welcome guests home to show their baby, they have used FaceTime to flaunt their happiness with family and close friends. The source also said that Perry is obsessed with the little one and been healthy.
"Has been incredible with her daughter and is obsessed with her. The couple and their love for one another had grown to a level they didn’t even expect since the arrival of their daughter," the source explained.
The couple has officially exchanged rings with each other since last year in February. However, the pair planned to get married in March this year but it got postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The duo wanted to tie-knot in Japan as per the plan.
In April, Perry spoke with ET and revealed how she dealt with pregnancy amid the global crisis. She said that this quarantine time helped her to get balance in life, which was absolutely necessary. According to the One of the Boys star, this quarantine has turned out to be good for her as she got time for preparation for the newborn baby and the mindset is wanted to achieve.
She disclosed that even when everyone steps out to celebrate post quarantine, she will stay home. She also took into consideration that every other person in quarantine is drinking, which seems crazy.
Ryan Seacrest sent a sweet gift to Perry this week and last week, the multi-talented singer received a floral arrangement from iconic singer Beyoncé to wish her and bless the new member of the family. Before Daisy was born, Perry has been open about her pregnancy on social media.
In fact, she shared a picture on her Instagram with a caption that she “had it” being pregnant and can’t take it anymore. Fans found her witty caption extremely funny as the picture posted along was well-suited.
