Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s names are being used by an investment scam. The cryptocurrency investment scheme claims that the couple is earning millions through crypto-trading.
A Bitcoin investment scheme has allegedly exploited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s names by claiming that the couple has used a “wealth loophole” to earn millions. It has been reported that the scheme has been urging people to opt for Bitcoin Evolution.
However, it is reportedly a sales strategy by a crypto-investment firm who has claimed that some of their members earned the first million within just two months. Last week, it was reported by the British media that Bitcoin Evolution, an investment scam is maligning the names of Harry and Markle so that they can allure other investors.
While the investment scheme is not a new one, it has managed to grab global headlines recently by using sham celebrity quotes. The Duke of Sussex and his wife’s names have also featured along with other celebrities, Bitcoin News reports. The scheme has alleged that Prince William’s brother and his wife are earning plenty of money by trading Bitcoin,
While the crypto trading company has been trying to exploit the couple’s name, they are forgetting that the latter has a significant fanbase. Perhaps, they were unaware that these royal fans are extremely loyal and hang on to every word uttered by Harry and Markle.
The trading company has come up with a faux quote of Harry and his wife where the couple allegedly said that they have become successful by leaping into fresh opportunities fast and without hesitating. The couple supposedly added that their “number one money maker” happens to be a virtual currency auto-trading program referred to as Bitcoin Evolution, CCN.com wrote,
The couple allegedly mentioned that it is the “single-biggest opportunity” for them in their entire lifetime to “build a small fortune fast.” Markle and her husband reportedly urged people to check out the scheme before the bank closes it down. However, the entire quote is bogus and there is no truth behind it.
Rather than the banks shutting Bitcoin Evolution down, it is highly possible that the governments will shut down this fraudulent scheme for trying to scam residents living in their jurisdictions.
A big tall-tell symptom that it is a scam is that when the link is clicked, the users are taken to a fraudulent website instead of a YouTube video like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s landing page does. A second symptom that proves the scheme is trying to drag the couple unnecessarily is that their website does not have any kind of contact details. There is no business address or telephone number mentioned on the website.
