Prince William and Kate Middleton are, allegedly, serious in their discussions about having another baby.
During their recent trip to the Isle of Sicily, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge discussed whether they should have baby number four.
“This trip served several purposes, and principally of course it was a wonderful opportunity for them to recharge their batteries and bond together as a family. Kate and William got to enjoy plenty of one-on-one time, too, and they had some intimate, romantic evenings all by themselves. It also gave them the chance to regroup and map out the rest of their summer, so they could organize their schedule around the next big priority – baby making!” the source said.
The insider also claimed that Prince William and Middleton are once again preparing themselves for the possibility that the latter could suffer extreme morning sickness. But they are also confident that since this will be Middleton’s fourth pregnancy, she and husband can handle the sickness better.
Meanwhile, some royal experts are encouraging the royal couple to rethink their plans to have another baby. After all, their children just returned to school and they are at risk for COVID-19.
But royal expert Victoria Arbiter also said that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are privileged because they were able to spend a lot of time with their parents amid the pandemic.
“For George, Charlotte, and Louis a lifetime of duty eventually awaits, but thanks to the relative normality their childhood affords, their royal calling will feel less like a prison sentence and more one to be proud of,” she said.
Arbiter also talked about Middleton’s parenting style by saying that she is raising her children in the same way that Princess Diana raised her sons.
“I think William and Kate's parenting styles might be similar to what Diana did. And I think William and Kate are really going to follow that model and do everything they can to ensure as normal a childhood as possible, while at the same time behind the scenes educating their child for their future role,” she said.
The Duchess of Cambridge has also been praised for making sure that her children are growing up to be private citizens while still holding their royal titles. When the time comes, Prince George will ascend the throne and become the king of Britain.
