Prince Harry recently made headlines amid claims that he used to be a pothead that turned into a marijuana mogul.
According to Globe, a billionaire named Alki David is encouraging Prince Harry to start a business growing and then selling cannabis.
A source told the tabloid that the business will be a golden opportunity for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex especially since they are struggling financially.
However, Gossip Cop immediately debunked the tabloid’s claims by saying that although David may have so much money, he’s recently in the news due to some issues.
Last year, David was, reportedly, arrested in St. Kitts for transporting 5,000 cannabis plants on his private jet. He has also been accused of sexual harassment, and he has also spent the past decade paying around $74 million to his alleged victims.
The rumor-debunking site said that it is unlikely for Prince Harry and Markle to want to associate themselves with David. Gossip Cop also busted the tabloid for publishing a slew of dubious stories about the Sussexes.
In April, the tabloid also claimed that Prince Harry and Markle were buying a marijuana farm in California. A source claimed that while Markle was still scouting for jobs in Hollywood, she has decided to go onboard with her husband’s plans to sell marijuana.
“While she's got an agent fishing for roles, Harry's never been involved in any sort of real business enterprise,” the source said.
Back then, Gossip Cop already debunked the tabloid’s claims by saying that the former royal couple won’t be buying a marijuana farm to help with their finances.
Just recently, it was announced that Prince Harry and Markle just signed a multiyear deal with Netflix. This means that the couple would have plenty of things to do so they won’t have time to tend to a marijuana farm.
Meanwhile, the tabloid also previously claimed that Prince Harry and Prince William are planning to exhume Princess Diana’s body for the second time. However, this rumor has also been proven to be incorrect.
After all, exhuming someone’s body would take so much time and it would also require tons of permits. Prince Harry isn’t in the United Kingdom right now so it’s unlikely for him to have requested for his mom’s body to be exhumed while he’s not around.
