Meghan Markle has allegedly hired a top lawyer in Hollywood so she could move forward with her and Prince Harry’s divorce.
Woman’s Day recently published a dubious headline claiming that Markle’s divorce papers have been leaked. The headline also suggests that juicy details about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s divorce can be found in the article.
However, not much has been said about the royal couple’s alleged divorce other than the claims that it was Markle’s plan all along.
A source told the tabloid that Markle has always planned to return to the United States after marrying Prince Harry and having a son with him. The “Suits” alum reportedly wants to return to acting.
“But the scary thing is she now has Harry right where she wants him — isolated from his family in a country where she holds all the cards in terms of legal rights,” the source claimed.
The rumor-debunking site, Gossip Cop, stressed the fact that the tabloid’s claims are untrue. In fact, there has not been any indication that Markle is plotting to divorce Prince Harry.
This isn’t the first time that Markle is rumored to be planning to divorce Prince Harry. Last month, New Idea even went as far as involving Queen Elizabeth in the rumors.
The tabloid claimed that Her Majesty intervened in Prince Harry and Markle’s marriage and she had the chance to talk to her grandson about it. The Queen allegedly encouraged Prince Harry to leave Markle since this is the only way that he could save the royal family.
A source told the tabloid that the Queen was enraged with how Markle tried to keep Archie away from her. The monarch also allegedly thinks that Prince Harry should leave Markle as soon as possible before the latter breaks his heart.
But as always, the claims made by the tabloid should be taken with a grain of salt. It is unlikely for the Queen to meddle in Prince Harry and Markle’s relationship. And it is more unlikely for her to say anything about it since the royal couple isn’t experiencing any marital problems.
Meanwhile, bookmakers Paddy Power claimed that the likelihood for Prince Harry and Markle to get a divorce is higher than the possibility of them returning to the royal family.
The bookies also predicted that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could announce their split in 2025. As of late, Prince Harry and Markle have not yet reacted to the allegations.
