The decision of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to separate themselves from the British Royal family has created a ripple effect on all the decisions being made by both parties. When it was made official that the Sussex’ were to step down from their roles as senior royals, it was clear that Harry and Meghan have set their eyes on a better future outside of the Royal firm, and it was not a question of ‘will they get into politics’ but ‘when will they go into politics’.

Experts are now seeing a very familiar pattern that Meghan has laid down. The Duchess who is now back in the US, together with Prince Harry and their one-year-old son, Archie, has been actively going back to her political rhetoric history.

According to the projection, the possibility of Meghan going against Ivanka Trump on the 2024 Presidential elections is not a far off idea.

Ivanka Trump is the eldest daughter of Donald Trump, the current POTUS. Ivanka and his brother Donald Trump Jr., has been a favorite republican ticket for future presidential elections.

Commentator, Rosa Silverman, said in an interview that Americans love a dynasty and it is not impossible that Ivanka will follow in her father’s footsteps.

“Might Ivanka be eyeing a slot on the Republican ticket? Yes, back in 2017, she insisted she tries to ‘stay out of politics’. But people change. [Trump] had been grooming her for years to take over the family empire. She was the golden child”, Ms. Silverman shared.

As to where Meghan inserts into this summary, the Duchess has always been vocal about politics and is a well-known activist for many grassroots movements.

Back in 2016, Meghan did not hold back on his attack of Donald Trump, branding the incumbent president as ‘divisive’ and ‘misogynistic’. According to Silverman, Meghan has always had political ambitions, and there is no stopping a woman who became a princess in her thirties.

The Duchess was recently involved in an initiative co-founded by the former first lady of the United States, Michell Obama, ‘When All Women Vote’, which catapulted the Duchess into the US political scene.

Her support amassed a huge number of women registering to vote for the November elections. This only shows that the Duchess has a huge effect and charm on voters.

But it is said that the Duchess’ husband, Prince Harry has kept mum on Meghan’s political ambitions with respect to his Royal roots, who are to stay apolitical.
