The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been living away from the UK since November of last year. This has created great grief for many royal fans, as this was a sign that the rumors were true about the Sussex’ leaving their royal duties.

The couple’s decision to not join the Queen and Prince Philip on the royal family’s annual winter holidays upset the balance of the royal family. The couple instead spent their winter holidays, together with their son, Archie, in Canada.

It has almost been a year since Archie’s last visit to the UK and due to the pandemic, this may be extended still.

Plans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to visit the UK and join the Queen and Prince Philip in Balmoral for the summer holidays were canceled due to the pandemic still ravaging the world.

This also means that Archie will not be able to see her grandmother and grandfather. According to royal experts, the next time Archie may be able to come back to the UK is on March 2021.

Fans have been waiting to see new photos of the young royal, both Meghan and Harry have been adamant about keeping their son’s and their private lives as under wraps as possible.

The last public appearance of Archie was during his birthday on Mar. 6, 2020. Archie appeared in a video with Meghan Markle for UK’s Save The Children organization. Meghan read Archie a storybook where the young royal was seen to be actively smiling and interacting with his mother, Prince Harry was behind the camera filming.

Royal experts believe that the Sussex’s visit back to the UK will be next year March and they will be staying for a longer duration, as both Harry and Meghan will be attending numerous engagements.

Harry who is the co-founder of ‘Invictus’ games, will be attending the ceremonies next year while Meghan and Archie will be present in ‘Trouping of the Color’.

The royals will also attend the revelation of the statue of the late Princess Diana, a project both commissioned by Prince William and Prince Harry. This will also mark the 60th birthday of their mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.

"There are many reasons for them to be based here in the UK for at least that period depending on whether travel will be completely back to normal”, Omid Scobie, author of ‘Finding Freedom’ commented on Harry and Meghan’s future visit of the UK.

The Sussex’ is based in America now and have recently moved to their own private estate in Santa Barbara, California.
