Princess Diana was one of the most well-known women of her time, as a royal she was known to be a doting mother, the perfect princess, and an amazing philanthropist. The princess was and still is loved by many, especially by her two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.
The two princes were young when Princess Diana passed away from an unfortunate accident, she was by that time a free woman. Less than a year from her passing, her divorce with Prince Charles was finalized.
Now, the princes are men of their own titles. Both have families now and everything was all well when during the start of the marriage of the youngest prince.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, as well as their married life, was marred by many hardships, and in less than 3 years the two decided to quit their senior royal duties.
This decision created a great divide in the royal world, as well as the brothers, William and Harry.
Recently, a biography called ‘Finding Freedom’ was released. This book summarizes the life of Harry and Meghan Markle from their first meeting up to the time they left the Royal family. The book also reveals that the brother’s relationship with each other has been deteriorating.
According to one of Princess Diana’s bodyguard, Ken Wharfe, the brothers would not be in a position where they are fighting if Princess Diana was still alive. Ken Wharfe was Dian’s personal bodyguard from 1988-1993.
“She had tremendous influence over them both and I simply don’t think they would have fallen out like this had Diana been around because she wouldn’t have allowed it to escalate. She’d have quickly instigated a resolution”, Mr. Wharfe commented.
Mr. Wharfe continued and claimed that Diana would not have allowed Harry to move from Kensington Palace away from the Cambridges to Windsor.
Harry and Meghan during the time they were engaged were living in Kensington Palace together with William and Kate but after their wedding, the Sussex’ decided to live in Frogmore Cottage in Windsor Palace.
Next year will mark Princess Diana’s 60th birthday, and a statue of the Princess will be revealed in Kensington Palace, specifically in the Sunken Garden.
The Sunken Garden is a very important area for Princess Diana, since this was where William and Harry used to play, but not only that this was where Harry announced his engagement with Meghan.
