The most awaited night has finally arrived! Fans have been waiting for their favorite artist to perform and the CNCO boy band rocked the MTV Video Music Awards with their dance moves.
The band that consists of Zabdiel de Jesús, Erick Brian Colón, Richard Camacho, Christopher Vélez, and Joel Pimentel performed their Latin style on Aug. 30. The style and moves made the crowd boosted when they took the stage with their newly released track, Beso.
The fans witness the stunning performances while enjoying the New York City skyline. They were under a safe environment following the protocol. However, the singers went close to the audience's cars during the performance as per the safety precautions before they stepped on the stage.
Later, the band performed on another stage that was placed in the center of the location. One of the members from the band also did the flip followed by fireworks in the backdrop. A glimpse of the performance was shared through Twitter.
CNCO concluded their performance by each member reaching at the top of one car and jumping with enthusiasm. Again, there were fireworks reaching the sky as they wrapped up the act. The Latin American band has been nominated by MTV Video Music Awards for three categories that include Best Group, Honey Boo's Best Choreography, and Best Quarantine Performance.
However, this is the first time ever that the band has performed live for an award function. Last year, CNCO has entertained the audience during the preshow event. Before the performance took place this year, the group expressed their excitement for performing at MTV Awards.
"We are super excited to be performing at the VMA’s this year. It means so much that we’re able to share our culture with the world," CNCO shared before busting out their amazing performance on stage. The group also admitted that they were not able to entertain the audience during an actual award show but this year they got a chance to perform.
The band expressed their gratitude towards Toyota as it gave them an opportunity to perform and also get closer to their fans. CNCO further said that they are extremely thrilled to show off their dance moves at the event.
Once the video clip of their performance was shared on social media, fans started to praise the band in the comments. While some of them also criticized the award show for having a fake audience.
