Yoo Mira is ready to face Lee Marin in The God of High School Episode 9. Seoul team goes up against Jeju in the upcoming episode called curse/cornered.

The preview video for The God of High School Episode 9 is out on the official Twitter account of the anime series. The video shows Yoo Mira getting ready for her battle against Lee Marin of Jeju.
Lee Marin tells Mira that he has waited for a long time to battle against someone who practices the Moon Light Sword style. In the trailer, he reveals his perfectly crafted physique flustering the audience members and Mira. He is born and raised on the sea and is known as the marine marvel.
Interestingly, the rest of the Seoul team is missing in action. It remains to be seen if Mira can tackle Marin.
Apart from the trailer, the official website released a synopsis for The God of High School Episode 9. In the synopsis, it is revealed that Jin Mori learns about his grandfather Taezin’s kidnapping. He rushes to his place of confinement.
Meanwhile, unaware of the situation, Han Daewi and Mira enter the team battle against Jeju without waiting for Mori to arrive. During the battle, Mira struggles with the elusive fighting style of Marin. Something is stopping her from unleashing her full potential.
It turns out Marin has Mira’s old sword she loved and that is preventing her sword attacks.
When Marin put up the wooden sword known as the National Treasure, the blade starts to turn white and shine brightly. In The God of High School Episode 9, Marin will reveal its true appearance and power.
The screenplay of the upcoming episode is written by Kiyoko Mura. The episode is directed by Kunihiro Mori and animation supervision by Manabu Akita.
Watch The God of High School Episode 9 online via live streaming on Crunchyroll. The episode is scheduled to hit the airwaves on Monday, Aug. 31, 2020.
