Jennifer Lopez found another way to make the quarantine more bearable and fun. Weeks ago, she had a mini baseball game with fiance Alex Rodriguez and daughter and now she has reunited with an ex-boyfriend for a dance-off.
The ex is none other than superstar Diddy and the dance-off was during an Instagram Live, as reported by Hollywood Life. The dance marathon was actually for fundraising purposes. The father of six, who was joined by all his children in the all-day charity dance-a-thon was raising money for DirectRelief in order to assist healthcare workers.
The 'Let's Get Loud' singer was accompanied by her significant other, retired baseball player Alex Rodriguez. Lopez was quick to point out that Alex was actually a huge fan of the rapper!
“Puffy, you have to know this! Because I don’t think you know this. THIS guy right here is your biggest fan from the Bad Boy era,” while she was sitting on her fiance's lap.
Jennifer and Diddy dated in 1999 but split up after two years of dating. She even starred as his love interest in his music video for 'Been Around the World.' They included the song in their dance-a-thon along with other tunes that everyone enjoyed. They even did some salsa dancing and JLo jokingly told the rapper that she taught him how to dance salsa.
Aside from JLo, many other celebrities took part in Diddy's fundraiser. Vulture reports that among them were NBA superstar Lebron James and actor Will Smith, both of whom were sporting some serious full-grown beard.
Diddy is just one of the many celebrities stepping up to fight the pandemic. Many artists have done concerts in their home not only to raise funds but to also pay tribute to the frontline healthcare workers who are battling the infection.
Lady Gaga even partnered with the WHO for the 'One World' concert which will be held on April 18. The star-studded concert includes celebrities like Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Andrea Bocelli, Paul McCartney, and Stevie Wonder. The concert aims to raise awareness regarding the outbreak and to celebrate the lives of the healthcare workers who are risking their own to save others.
Other celebrities doing their own thing include Rihanna, who has not only donated money but even gave PPEs to the state of New York, which remains to be the epicenter of the virus in the country. As of today, the state has more than 189,000 COVID-19 cases followed by New Jersey with 61,000 cases.
