Keke Palmer's schedule this year is jampacked, especially for August!
The 27-year-old American singer, songwriter, actress, and TV personality recently celebrated her natal day, in heels time to release her latest album. As the songstress opened up a new chapter of her life, Keke is also occupied in rehearsing her lines and stunts for the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards, which will occur virtually this coming Aug. 30.
The official host of the 2020 MTV VMAs spoke with Hollywood Life exclusively during the VMAs organizers' press conference. The fun-filled talk between the new site and Keke made her reveal how she is balancing and taking all in her busy schedule.
According to Keke, her schedule follows a strict protocol because it ends getting bigger and busier every day without her knowing. She shared, "it just ends up getting bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger in terms of how busy it becomes!"
Keke said that her schedule is not always what it seems like every day, but due to the VMAs event's vast demand, it has now bombarded her with additional tasks. However, Keke is not worried about not fulfilling her duties as she possesses a very great team that helps her make the job done more leisurely.
As of this writing, Keke already unveiled her much-awaited album entitled 'Virgo Tendencies Pt. 1' on Aug. 28, two days before the VMAs! Well, this week deserves a bottle of champagne for the singer!
The interview went by Keke, revealing her preparations for the grand event. She said that she would like to be given a chance to speak with VMAs former hosts like Chris Rock and Sebastian Maniscalco for advice. But her hectic schedule won't allow her to do so.
One fact about Keke's forthcoming hosting stunt: she is the first woman of color to host the prestigious VMAs since Julie Brown's 1986-1987 hosting duties, that happened before Keke was born. Keke is delighted to embody the race she comes from in the said award show because it depicts an "opportunity for representation."
Keke also revealed that she is the most exciting ARMY to witness BTS perform because she thinks it's just so "dope," considering it is their first VMAs performance. She exclaimed that she loves their music that made her gush on their performance at the VMAs stage.
The MTV VMAs will air live on MTV at precisely 8 P.M. ET. It will give prominence to Doja Cat, J Balvin, Miley Cyrus, Arian Grande, Lady Gaga, Maluma, The Weeknd, and more.
