Despite being a royal longer, it seems that Kate Middleton still learned a thing or two from Meghan Markle. This has led her to make some changes that had some positive effects.
The changes are not so drastic, but Express UK points out that Kate seemed to take a page from Meghan with regards to how she gives speeches. This observation comes from communication and body language experts Judi James. She recognizes that while Middleton has always delighted fans during public appearances, it seems that there are still many things she can improve when it comes to giving speeches.
Kate has been very charming but she is also very cautious and would like to avoid making any mistake when she speaks in front of a crowd. There are times when she looks so stilted and too choreographed. Meanwhile, Meghan's style is more natural. She is also able to bond more closely with her audience. This may have something to do with the fact that she is an actress and knows how to connect with people.
Based on Kate's recent speeches, it seems that she is finding an individual style that works for her. She may have taken a page out of Meghan's way of speaking.
But it will still take a while before we can see just how much Kate has deviated from her former style of speaking. With the coronavirus pandemic wreaking havoc all over the world, we don't know when things will get back to normal.
But the Duchess of Cambridge, along with her husband Prince William, is not letting the pandemic get in the way of their duties. They are still representing the royal family even while quarantined in Norfolk. BUt of course, they do this virtually.
Not only have they called a hospital to encourage frontline staff, but they also spent an hour doing a video call with some students and teachers. Their latest way of encouraging the citizens is through a post in their Kensington Royal Instagram account, as reported by The Daily Mail. Posting a picture of some daffodils, they greeted their more than 11 million followers a Happy Easter. They included the hashtag #StayHomeSaveLives to remind everyone on one of the best ways they can stay healthy during this health crisis.
Earlier in the day, Queen Elizabeth also gave an audio address to give a message to everyone in the United Kingdom. The monarch reiterates that Easter is not canceled and now is the time that we all need Easter more than ever.
