Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are, allegedly, ready to confirm their relationship to the entire world.
According to Woman’s Day, the couple rekindled their romance last year. And they have been secretly dating for the past 18 months.
A source told the tabloid that Pitt and Aniston are planning to confirm their relationship at the table read for Fast Times at Ridgemont High. And the move has been dubbed as a “coming out as a couple” strategy.
On top of this, there are also claims that Aniston could exert a grand gesture at Pitt to let him know how much she loves him. The Friends could, allegedly, buy their old house in Beverly Hills that was recently sold to another buyer.
“When she’s really happy, money is no object. And I’ve never seen her happier or more at peace. If she’s done something as grand as this, then there’s no doubt they’re back in love and ready to shout it from the rooftops,” the source said.
The insider added that since awards season is almost here, fans of Pitt and Aniston just must wait for their huge announcement. The A-listers will also reunite at the Emmys next month.
“Awards season is rapidly approaching so the rumor is they’ll be going officially public then. But in the meantime, I just wish I could be there to see Brad’s face the moment Jen hands him the keys,” the source said.
However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Aniston and Pitt aren’t confirming their relationship at the Emmys or at the table read because they didn’t get back together.
The A-listers are nothing more than friends. And it took them a while to become amicable after their split in 2005.
According to reports, Aniston and Pitt started talking again after the latter reached out to the former after her mom’s death. Since then, the two have been talking and catching up regularly.
It is also unlikely for Aniston and Pitt to buy their old house in Beverly Hills. There’s no reason for them to move in together because they are not dating.
Aniston and Pitt are living in separate homes and they are also living separate lives.
