Angelina Jolie, allegedly, wants to be in control of everything even though she and Brad Pitt are no longer together.
According to In Touch Weekly, Jolie is refusing to allow Pitt to move on with his life by dragging their custody battle.
“Brad knows she’s never satisfied and likes to be in control. This hell has been going on since 2016. Brad just wants to move on with his life. But Angie’s willing to drag this out for as long as it takes, and there’s nothing he can do,” the source said.
The tabloid also claimed that Jolie is causing yet another delay in her ongoing custody battle with Pitt. And no one knows for sure when things will be resolved.
Two weeks ago, she ordered Judge John W. Ouderkirk to be removed from the case due to an alleged conflict of interest. However, the tabloid claimed that there’s another reason why Jolie doesn’t want to deal with the judge.
Years ago, Ouderkirk, allegedly, threatened Jolie, and he was also, allegedly, pretty stern with the actress. The judge asked Jolie to stop monitoring her children’s phones, and he also prevented Jolie from monitoring Pitt’s visits to their children.
“If the minor children remain closed down to their father, it may result in a reduction of the time they spend with [Jolie] and may result in the court ordering primary physical custody to Pitt,” the source said.
However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. It is unlikely for a tabloid to know private details about Jolie and Pitt’s custody case.
After all, all the accurate information about the couple’s divorce comes straight from their lawyers and not from unknown sources.
Meanwhile, Ouderkirk just responded to Jolie’s request to have him removed from the custody case. He said that he can and will remain impartial in the trial.
“The Objection to my continued service does not change my ability to objectively view and evaluate the evidence presented by both sides and apply the law impartially. Thank you for considering the issues presented affecting the lives of these parties and their children,” he said.
Ouderkirk also said that Jolie clearly failed in trying to prove any kind of bias in Pitt’s favor.
Pitt and Jolie announced their separation in 2016. And their custody trial will take place in October.
