Luann de Lesseps opened up about the dating rumors. She addressed the rumors surrounding her dating scene with other Real Housewives of New York City co-stars such as Ramona Singer and Tinsley Mortimer with Constantine Maroulis who has been a former contestant on American Idol.

De Lesseps said in an interview on The Michelle Collins Show that she didn't date Maroulis. The star appeared on SiriusXM on Aug. 21 to clear the air. She further explained that Maroulis and her have been together on Countess and Friends, which she called a cabaret show.

However, the 55-year-old television personality confirmed that she and Maroulis had flirted with each other but it was never a date. She further revealed that the moment she showed Maroulis’ picture to the girl on the show, she learned that Mortimer has dated him.

De Lesseps said that she asked Maroulis if he dated Singer, which he refused. Although he agreed to hang around with the 63-year-old TV personality. De Lesseps disclosed that once the rumors started growing strong, the 44-year-old actor texted her and he seemed extremely surprised.

However, De Lesseps said that Maroulis is a wonderful person and singer. In an episode of RHONY last week, De Lesseps was seen flaunting a picture of the Maroulis who came ranked position sixth on American Idol in the fourth season.

The singer had a quick look at the photo and disclosed that she also dated Maroulis along with Mortimer. However, the picture shown on the show was kept blurred but it wasn't difficult for the viewers to figure out the celebrity they were referring to.

Maroulis appeared on a podcast, Behind the Velvet Rope With David Yontef on Aug. 16 where he revealed about the relationships he had with three women.

"I didn't really know what was happening and sure enough ... I guess I got a million calls about it. A couple of people sent me the video and I was like, 'Oh yeah. OK. Yeah, they're definitely talking about me!'" Maroulis confirmed. Maroulis admitted dating Mortimer on the podcast and said that they hung out together during the Rock of Ages.

He also addressed that people thought his relationship was fake but he believed being there with her during the difficult times. While he called the relationship "real", he mentioned that things didn't work well once she started addressing him as "boyfriend". Maroulis said he is not fond of titles in a relationship.
