Prince Charles is, undeniably, among the most talked-about members of the royal family. Aside from being Queen Elizabeth’s imminent successor, the father of Prince William and Prince Harry has, also, been involved in various issues and controversies, including rumors claiming that he is, currently, at war with Meghan Markle’s husband.
Finding Freedom, as per Daily Express, claimed that Prince Charles and Prince Harry are not on good terms right now. It was reported that the husband of Camilla Parker-Bowles is very much focused on his public image and it, reportedly, took a toll on his relationship with the other members of the royal family, primarily his youngest son.
Omid Scobie, who is one of the co-authors of the Sussex couple’s unofficial biography, even claimed that the Prince of Wales “quietly supported” Meghan Markle’s decision to file a lawsuit against a British newspaper.
Most, if not all, fans can recall that the Duchess of Sussex has taken the owner of MailOnline and Main on Sunday, Associated Newspaper Limited, to court over five articles that featured some parts of a handwritten note she sent to her father, Thomas Markle, in 2018.
Scobie told True Royalty TV that Prince Charles’ sympathy for the couple is unwavering, but he is said to be too afraid to voice it. Instead, the Duke of Cornwall has, allegedly, supported their decision quietly.
However, a source close to Princess Diana’s former husband told Mirror UK that the reports saying that Prince Charles and Prince Harry are feuding at the moment are, completely, untrue. Another insider said that the book is very much biased for numerous issues involving Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
“Not only is this book incredibly one-sided for various gripes from Harry and Meghan, claims of breakdowns in the relationship with his father and him supporting their various legal cases are entirely false,” the tipster told the news publication.
The book, reportedly, claimed that the official 70th birthday snap of Prince Charles, which showed the three generations of the royal family, was a “nightmare” because of the tension between them. However, palace insiders were quick to debunk the claims and called it as “poppycock.”
Prince Charles, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle have yet to comment on Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand’s statements on their new book. However, the Sussex couple has made it clear already that they did not contribute to the publication of the book in any form.
