Meghan Markle, allegedly, told the royal family that she will appear in a no holds barred interview if they won’t give her $90 million.
According to National Enquirer, the Duchess of Sussex demanded the hush money from the royal family because she knows that they wouldn’t want their dirt to be exposed.
“Meghan will demand a stunning $90 million settlement in return for keeping silent,” a source said.
However, the insider claimed that Prince William and Kate Middleton are convincing the royal family not to adhere to Markle’s outrageous demands.
But the insider said that Markle is keen on having a standoff with the royal family since this is something she’s planned since she and Prince Harry first started dating.
The source also claimed that Markle is jealous of Middleton because she was trying to turn the Sussex brand into an empire. However, her attempts didn’t turn out to be successful.
However, Gossip Cop has debunked the claims made by the tabloid. They said that Markle has not agreed to appear in a tell-all. And it is unlikely for her to expose the dirt on the royal family now because she’s no longer a senior working royal.
Markle and Prince Harry also quit The Firm earlier this year. This means that they are no longer working closely with Prince William and Middleton. As such, they don’t even see each other to know what’s been going on with their respective lives.
The rumor-debunking site also said that Prince Harry and Markle’s memoir, Finding Freedom cannot be considered a tell-all. After all, it’s an unauthorized book about the Sussexes, but they didn’t, reportedly, give any interview to authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand.
National Enquirer is also known for linking the royal family with money. There was a time when the tabloid claimed that Markle’s royal exit would cost the British clan $1 trillion.
The tabloid also accused Markle of being money-hungry because she, allegedly, stole the royal family’s jewelry that’s worth $10 million.
However, one should take all the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Markle didn’t give the royal family an ultimatum. And she’s not also expecting them to pay her $90 million as hush money.
