Brad Pitt’s mom, Jane Pitt, allegedly, gave Angelina Jolie an ultimatum about her grandchildren.
According to New Idea, Jane threatened to file a lawsuit against Jolie if she wouldn’t allow her and her husband, Bill to see their grandchildren.
“She misses those kids terribly. She and Bill are fed up over feeling eliminated from their grandchildren’s lives. Lockdown or no lockdown there’s no excuse,” a source said.
According to The Sun, Jane and Bill haven’t seen Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox in four years. And Jolie’s, allegedly, been keeping her children away from their grandparents.
After all, Jolie and Jane have always had a fraught relationship. And they don’t also get along well because their views are very different.
Meanwhile, just days after Jane’s alleged ultimatum, Mirror revealed that Pitt’s mom has finally seen her grandchildren. The Maleficent actress, reportedly, invited Jane and her other relatives for lunch last weekend.
However, the recent update on Jane and her grandkids was unrelated to the tabloid’s previous allegation that Pitt’s mom gave Jolie ultimatum. After all, Jane didn’t give her former daughter-in-law an ultimatum.
Mirror’s source also revealed that Jolie’s invitation for lunch was already been extended to Jane and her family for quite some time.
In related news, Jolie and Pitt are, reportedly, still having problems in their divorce battle. While speaking with Us Weekly, Jolie’s lawyer, Samantha Bley DeJean said that her client wants fairness, honesty in dealing with her divorce case.
“All my client is asking for is a fair trial based on facts, with no special favors extended to either side. The only way litigants can trust the process is for everyone involved to ensure that there are transparency and impartiality,” she said.
Last week, reports revealed that Jolie was requesting for Judge John W. Ouderkirk to be removed from her cast against Pitt. Her team revealed that Ouderkirk’s decision may not be impartial because of his working relationship with Pitt’s lawyers.
Jolie’s filing also claimed that Pitt’s attorney actively advocated for Ourderkirk’s financial interests.
Pitt’s team fired back at Jolie by saying that the actress has always been aware of Ourderkirk’s involvement with Pitt’s attorney. However, it is only now that she has filed a complaint.
The actor’s team also accused Jolie of trying to delay the divorce proceedings. But they said that it is Jolie and Pitt’s children that will be in the losing end of the court battle.
