Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus announced in Aug. last year that they have decided to throw in the towel on their relationship just after a few months of marriage. Following this very public breakup, The Elephant Princess actor has moved on, putting his relationship with the singer behind him, according to an insider.
"Liam is happy to have moved on," an insider told E! News. The 30-year-old actor is living a completely different lifestyle after his breakup with the pop star, the insider explained. The way things between him and Cyrus came to an end didn't sit well with him, and he was upset by the entire incident, the insider said.
Hemsworth eventually came to terms with the end of their relationship, according to the insider. It looks like he has even healed his broken heart, as just days ago he was spotted on a lunch date with Gabriella Brooks, 23. Proving that their romance is stronger than ever, the pair were spotted having a fun day in Byron Bay.
The Hunger Games alum has spent a major portion of his time in the Australian town after calling it quits with Miley. A source told E! News that the actor went to his native country to spend time with his family at the time of their divorce.
He needed to get out of the town and get some perceptive, the source explained. Hemsworth and Brooks aren't willing to get in the spotlight at the moment. Back in March, another source revealed that they both have the tendencies to be themselves and take things at face value, adding that Brooks is low-key and down to earth, and its been fun and easy so far.
The "Wrecking Ball" singer, on the other hand, is single at the moment. Last week, reports suggesting that she and Cody Simpson were no longer together surfaced online. They dated for less than a year before Cody initiated the breakup, a source said.
Details about why they broke up are still scarce, and they have yet to confirm the news. Before dating Cody in 2019, Cyrus had a fling with blogger Kaitlynn Carter. Although the pop star is currently single, she opened up about what she looks for in a partner and how she moves on from a break.
"I've just have been very experimental," she told host Alexandra Cooper of Call Her Daddy podcast. Explaining that she has been with a lot of different kinds of men and women, Cyrus said she doesn't have a specific type and wants someone who can bring something elevating in her life.
