News of Prince Harry and Meghan stepping down from their royal duties circulated late last year, many people believed that this was untrue. Earlier this year though, the couple officially announced that they were leaving the royal family to pursue a more normal life.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left many royal watchers devastated and the royal house disarray. The Royal family was in awe with the couple's decision but fully supported them in the long run, releasing a statement that they have known the couple's plan for a time.
Prince Harry and Meghan were bombarded with criticisms regarding there decision but they are no stranger to being the main topic in tabloids and television.
Recently they have moved on from this issue and have purchased there very first property in Santa Barbara, California in the US. Showing that they can get by on their own without the royal family’s help.
But sources have claimed that the couple will not be welcomed back into the royal family anytime soon, especially now that a biography about Prince Harry and Meghan have been released. ‘Finding Freedom’ has soared to the top purchased book in Amazon since its release and dirty laundry has been aired in the book.
The biography follows Prince Harry and Meghan since the time they started dating to their decision of leaving their royal duties. The book also includes the fallout between the royal brothers, Prince William and Prince Harry.
“It's pretty bad for them at the moment, they may be welcomed back into the fold somewhere down the line but it won't be very soon,” Daily Mirror royal editor Russel Myer’s said in an interview. He continued that it didn’t look so good for the couple.
Although the authors of ‘Finding Freedom’ strongly denied the accusations that they colluded with the couple during the process of writing the book, the silence from the couple since the book's release has only lead to more questions.
Prince Harry and Meghan have not been back to Britain since earlier this year, and the pandemic is not helping their relations with the royal family.
Sources close to the royal couple claims otherwise, saying that the pandemic helped Prince Harry and Prince William fix their relationship. Their father, Prince Charles had COVID19 and this unfortunate event led the brothers to be friendlier with each other.
The couple seems to be very happy with there new life in the US, and not being welcomed back to the royal household may come as a good thing for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s dream of a normal life.
