Jake Paul’s house in Calabasas, California was searched by the FBI last week. However, Paul immediately turned down all the rumors following the raid. While the YouTube video recorded by the subscribers that have been deleted now, the 23-year-old internet celebrity is grateful for the encouragement received by his fans.
"Just to clarify things and set the record straight, the FBI raid is entirely related to the Arizona looting situation that happened. It's an investigation. There are rumors about it having to do with so many other things that have nothing to do with me or my character and the s--t that people are making up is absolutely absurd,” Paul explained.
The Mind of Jake Paul star continued the explanation and said that as soon as he realizes anyone around him is involved in malicious activities then he ensures that the person is out of his life instantly. He further said that he doesn't deal with anybody's bulls--t and avoid being around with awful people.
Paul confirmed that if anyone does "bad" things then they are not allowed to be in his life. The Teen Choice Award Winner for Choice Web Star revealed that his role during the investigation is to focus on music, boxing, and improving his life overall.
Paul thanked his friends and fans to stay tall with him amid these difficult times. A statement obtained by the outlet confirmed that the FBI has accomplished the search in Paul's Calabasas home. However, the spokesperson said that the information is secured with the officials.
The official statement disclosed that the affidavit has been secured by the jury that supported the search warrant. The spokesperson said that sealed affidavit prohibits him to reveal further information. However, there are no plans to arrest the star.
A couple of months back, the YouTube influencer was accused as he entered a mall in Arizona, Scottsdale Fashion Square. He was charged for staying inside the mall even while it was shut down. Paul has been a part of George Floyd's protest and as per the reports, he entered the protest after it was declared an unlawful gathering.
The influencer was charged with unlawful assembly, criminal trespassing, and two misdemeanors. The Police Department of Scottsdale released a statement on Aug. 12 that revealed the involvement of Paul in the riots held in Scottsdale Fashion Square was discharged. The officials explained that the misdemeanor charges are dismissed because that will help the federal criminal investigation.
