"So SO excited to announce @BlackPinkOfficial and I have a new song coming out August 28th," Gomez announced. The American songstress took on her personal Instagram account to spill the news on August 11 (Tuesday). The post comes with a sugary and dazzling art poster that writes the Gomez and Blackpink's name over dripping chocolate in a pink striped backdrop.
The "A Year Without Rain" singer's vast announcement comes a week after Blackpinks's home management and record label, YG Entertainment, teased that the all-girl group has an upcoming team-up. For the time being, the untitled song is still a secret, but it backs up the band's chart-topping and whopping record track called "How You Like That."
Aside from Gomez, the South Korean femme fatale also shared the most-awaited news on their social media accounts. After teasing their beloved BLINKS about the mystery artist, the quartet's new poster inevitably reveals Gomez as their new teammate. All four girls, Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa, will conclude August's month with a bang!
